Leah Tremain, M.Ed., CEO

Leah Tremain is the founder and CEO of Tremain Media Inc. which was founded in 2006.  Her and her company has won multiple awards. She is featured in the book “New Pioneers: Stories of BC Women Entrepreneurs.” She holds a Master of Education with a specialty in educational video. Leah leads the company and presides over the day-to-day operations.

 Steven Connor, CTO

Steven Connor, is the lead programmer and business line manager for Tremain Visual.  He built Render Engine, an elegant system in the cloud that automates many of the features and data management of our time-lapse systems. He is consistently developing, customizing, programming and creating systems and features for our visual data services.

Rhonda Teramura, Executive Producer

Rhonda Teramura is our Executive Producer. She helps businesses and not-for profits forge their unique message into powerful media products. Video, print design, websites, social media marketing and social media management are Tremain Media’s core services and Rhonda is the bridge between the expert media teams and her clients. In 2016 Rhonda was a sub 44hr finisher in the Fat Dog 120 – an ultramarthon of 120 miles – and set a new female fastest known time (FKT) by running the West Coast Trail in 14 hours and 32 minutes.  The projects she runs are diverse is our client’s themselves. Both her sport and her profession drive her to find the best approaches to challenges and to seek rewards, not only for the clients but for the Tremain team.

Jenn-O, Project Manager

Jenn-O is the newest addition to the Tremain Media team. Her familiar voice has been heard on airways throughout Vancouver Island, and radio stations across Canada. Jenn brings her 10+ years in broadcasting and social media expertise along with a great ear for what’s trending right now. She has managed many social media campaigns targeting a range of demographics, and has spear-headed many community events and speaker series alongside familiar clients and non-profit organizations. Jenn loves finding unique ways of engaging the public to get client’s messages seen and heard. Her creative insight and passion will help your business reach its full potential in a fresh new way.

Darren Heise, Graphic Design / Animation

Darren Heise has been producing animation, print, branding and photography for over 15 years. He puts his artistic touch to almost every Tremain Media project – whether it be in print – producing books, designing logos, posters and business cards or animation and motion graphics for film and video.

Tom Keenoy, Head of Web Development

Tom Keenoy is the head of our web development team.  In 2009, Tom relocated to Vancouver Island from Brooklyn, New York. He combines a BFA in Communications Design with over a decade of experience in website development to produce sophisticated interactive experiences, integrating aesthetics and solid communication techniques with advanced, user-centric functionality.

Bob Ennis, DOP / Camera Operator

IATSE 669 union member for over 25 years. Winner of a Genie award among many others for cinematography. He has worked on numerous and diverse genres of films from TV to Features, and Canadian documentaries. His work includes (88) episodes on the Disney/CBC “Danger Bay” series and “Beachcombers”. Feature Films include “Jumanji” anad “Bird on a Wire.” Commercials with special effects -­ Hasbro, Toyota, Nokia, McDonald’s and Telus. He has also worked with IMAX and Showscan.

Michael Henry, Editor / Videographer

Michael Henry is Tremain Media’s editor and one of our talented videographers – his shooting style is modern with motion and beauty. He is an video editing force and can craft on precise scripts or tease out a compelling story from months of footage. Michael has a love for the West Coast that runs deep. Living on Quadra Island, just a short boat ride to Campbell River – it’s this love of lifestyle that brings him to us. Vancouver tried to steal his talents but nothing beats the island life – so here he is and we are lucky to have him.
